My name is Daniela Abreu, I am 19 years old and I was born on the beautiful island of Cuba. I moved to the states when I was 4 years old and have lived in the Naples-Fort Myers area for about 14 years now. I am currently majoring in Elementary Education, I plan to graduate sometime between two years to two and a half years from now, and hope to become a first or second grade teacher. M In high school I took online classes, following with online classes in college as well. I am also certified in Microsoft PowerPoint and Word.
I believe every student is different and for that reason it is important that teachers incorporate a little of each learning style into class. This will allow students to figure out what the best learning method works best for them. I also believe that a classroom should be a safe environment for children to explore the world around them, and that they find a support system in me if they need or want it.
Note To Parents
To the parents of my students, I want you to be reassured that for me not only is your child's education top priority but their overall well-being is too. As a teacher to me, it is important that your child finds another support system in my classroom that they feel that my classroom is like a 2nd home to them. Along with maintaining your child involved, focused and excited about every lesson I also want to maintain you as the parent just as involved. Parents participation is important in order to assure the absolute best education for children.
